Thank you guys for a science lesson we could not have gotten anywhere else.

Road to The Rim

Boulders as large as locomotives line
the edge of the Mogollon Rim.

Max is a peace loving animal we would
all do well to emulate.

Kathy and our Welsh Corgi Miss Charlie Marie
whose tenth birthday will be celebrated on May 20th.

Kathy, Charlie and myself trying to spot
our little cabin 2000 feet below the edge
of the Mogollon Rim.

Sue's favorite tree on the Mogollon
Rim is a very old Alligator Juniper.

On the Edge. Mogollon Rim, Pine, Arizona.

Venture to the edge of the Mogollon Rim at your own risk.
The drop is one long free fall for hundreds of feet.

I never met a rock I didn't like (Scott Nearing). Me either!

Looking south towards Payson Arizona.
The town of Pine is behind the bend.

Boulders and eighty foot Ponderosa Pines line the
240 miles of the Mogollon Rim.

Sue and Kathy with Charlie Marie and
myself lagging behind.  Young guy Max
is somewhere in the lead.
